Remix Some Velvet Morning’s “How To Start A Revolution”
Rock revolutions come and go, with musicians weaving in and out of movements like fickle branches in a gnarly storm. Though, if a musician truly wants to be remembered, they start the revolution. London based band Some Velvet Morning is inviting you to do precisely that with their newest single “How to Start A Revolution”, which was recently featured in the official movie trailer for the film Kick Ass. So start your revolution; chop it, cover it, kick ass, and take names.
Prize
First Place (Selected by the judges from all submissions)
The Winner will have their remix on an official release, from which they will be entitled to a 20% recording royalty on all sales. In addition, they will have their remix streamed on the band’s Official Website and MySpace page. The Winner will also receive a signed copy of the single “How To Start A Revolution”, and a year-long Platinum Membership to Indaba Music.

The Runners-up will have their remixes streamed on the band’s Official Website and MySpace page, will receive a signed copy of the single “How To Start A Revolution”, and will receive free year-long Platinum Membership to Indaba Music.
10 Honorable Mentions (Selected by the judges from the 25 most popular mixes)
Each Honorable Mention will receive a signed copy of the single “How To Start A Revolution”.
