Most well known as the drummer for Radiohead, Philip Selway is now making his mark as a solo artist. Selway is a multi-instrumentalist, able to play drums, sing, and play guitar. Recently he’s teamed up with Nonesuch Records (whose artists include the likes of Joshua Redman, Brad Mehldau, Steve Reich, and The Black Keys) to release a solo album away from the Radiohead construct. His solo album Familial features several premier musicians including Lisa Germano, former Soul Coughing bassist Sebastian Steinberg, as well as Wilco members Glenn Kotche and Patrick Sansone.
